Rest assured your kids are in safe, capable hands when they are in Kids Inc after school child care.

We offer a quality OSCAR approved after school care programme for kids aged 5 to 13years.
​
Our caring, nurturing and positive environment has a number of spaces, suitable for whatever your child is needing after school. We have quiet spaces for reading or doing homework, we have team activities if they are looking for social interaction, we have hands on activities if they are wanting to be challenged and have fun. 
 
We run our after school care programme out of the old Brookfield School Hall & premises.
Te Kura O Manunui pupils will be walked up to the old school hall (walking bus & vans).

We offer a pickup from Bethlehem Primary too. Our friendly staff will be waiting for your children at the gate (and for Juniors we go and collect them) and drive them to Brookfield School Hall. You are expected to collect them from Brookfield School Hall.​

A Typical After School Care Programme at Kids Inc

  • 2.45pm – 3.00pm – Kids arrive to previous Brookfield School Hall
         -  Walking bus (or Juniors in vans on wet days) from Te Kura O Manunui
         -  Vans from Bethlehem Primary
  • 3.00pm to 3.20pm – Afternoon tea is provided – this consists of Fruit, vegetable sticks, crackers, biscuits and sandwiches.

  • 3.20pm to 5.00pm – Structured Free Time – this is when the kids can choose from the various spaces and activities on offer, what they feel like participating in. There is something for everyone with space for individual or group activities, indoor or outdoor play including creative, sporty and hands-on tasks.

  • 5.00pm to 5.45pm – We start tidying up, then play group games. with all children in our care to be collected by 5.45pm.

Providing your child with a safe environment is paramount at Kids Inc. Whether it’s the kids, the teachers, the vehicles or the activities, we have active controls in place to ensure those that visit, attend or work at Kids Inc are safe.

Engagement is a main focus for us at Kids Inc. This is felt throughout; with teachers, students and parents, and children love being engaged in a fun environment.

Explore
We operate using the Learning Through Play approach and our kids are open to explore and to be challenged. We think it’s super important to have children involved in the process, not just the outcome.

Work & Income (WINZ) OSCAR Subsidies Available!

Kids Inc are an OSCAR approved provider which means if you’re eligible, you can receive an OSCAR WINZ subsidy to help with the cost of Before School Care, After School Care and School Holiday Programmes.
