School Holiday Programmes that Work for Both Parents and Kids

When designing our School Holiday Programmes in Tauranga, we make sure each programme meets and exceeds the needs of the kids and their parents and caregivers! We’re really proud of what we do in this space and would love for you to give us a try for the next school holidays – you won’t be disappointed!

Our Tauranga School Holiday Programmes are available 7.30am to 5.45pm Monday to Friday during School Holidays (excluding Public Holidays). 
We even run these school holiday programmes from when school finishes in Term 4, up to and including Christmas Eve (if it falls outside the weekend). If you need to drop your child off from 7.00 am this is available by prior arrangement for a limited number of places. Please note an additional fee applies for this early arrangement & will be charged if your child is dropped off before 7.30 am.

Drop off is at the old Brookfield School Hall (20 Millers Road) before 09.00am and transport for any day trips, depart soon after 9.00am.

Our popular Tauranga School Holiday Programmes have something for everyone!

  • Specific programmes for Juniors (5 to 8 years old) and Seniors (9 to 13 years old)
  • WINZ OSCAR Subsidies available
  • Varied Programme that includes things like arts and crafts, water based activities, cooking, scootering, sand digs, Disney days, climbing trees… the list goes on
  • Sought after trip days that provide loads of entertainment and engagement. Examples include Pilot Bay, Mercury Arena, Various Parks, Movies, McLaren Falls, Rotorua, Bay Wave.
  • Constantly changing, we don’t just roll out the same thing every holidays
  • Soooo much fun for both kids and teachers!

Safety is of Upmost Importance to Us

Providing your child with a safe environment is paramount at Kids Inc. Whether it’s the kids, the teachers, the vehicles or the activities, we have active controls in place to ensure those that visit, attend or work at Kids Inc are safe.

What to Pack For Your Child?

To make sure your kids get the best out of our School Holiday Programmes, please make sure you send your child off each day with the following:

  • A large nutritious morning tea and lunch
  • A refillable drink bottle
  • Togs and towel and a rash shirt
  • Clothing appropriate to the weather – e.g. A T-shirt to cover shoulders, a warm jersey or hoody and rain jacket
  • Closed in footwear and jandals/sandals
  • A Sunhat for holiday programmes in Spring and Summer
  • Apply sunblock BEFORE arriving and we reapply during the day for programmes in Spring and Summer

Remember: you are responsible for making sure your WINZ Application Form is processed in time. We can only estimate your WINZ subsidy, so if your actual subsidy is less than estimated, you will need to pay the difference.

Kids Inc are an OSCAR approved provider which means if you’re eligible, you can receive an OSCAR WINZ subsidy to help with the cost of Before School Care, After School Care and School Holiday Programmes.
